Two besties with different instincts and a shared rhythm—designing and celebrating life’s biggest (and smallest) moments in perfect sync. What started as making invitations and hand-crafting decor for our friends grew into Likewise Kansas City, a small-batch studio with a big vision.
Our expertise is building brand experiences with heart. Guided by storytelling, spatial design, and human connection, we create gatherings that feel seamless, soulful, and deeply personal. We believe in design that connects people. Part of the magic comes from partnering with local artists and makers to bring one-of-a-kind experiences to life that celebrate community, creativity, and that feeling when everything just clicks.

Hi! I’m a co-founder of Likewise. I’m the planner who loves mapping out the vision. Research, thoughtful processes, and meaningful storytelling inspire me. I love curating experiences people can step into for a moment in time and leave with a little bit of magic.
Crafting hand-made pieces is my love language. The finished piece becomes a one-of-a-kind gift or decor, but the process itself invites me to slow down, live in the moment, and create with intention. I love planning, organizing, and obsessing over the details—while still leaving room for a little whimsy.
Through Likewise, I hope to help people pause and enjoy the present moment. I want them to discover the hand-crafted details and feel the love and care behind something made just for them.
For me, Likewise is about choosing joy, romanticizing everyday life, and helping people feel seen, celebrated, and special.

With over seven years of professional graphic design experience, I blend exploratory vision with creative problem-solving to create purposeful, engaging work.
I’ve worked across countless markets and client types, so I’m comfortable designing in a range of styles and crafting a look that feels truly unique to your event. Creating gatherings that connect people feeds my soul, and people energize me. I love meeting new people and believe you can never have too large a party.

Shaped by art school
Sara is a Graphic Design alum of the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI), where collaborating with artists became the foundation of her senior thesis project—Likewise Magazine.
